Sharmeen Obaid’s Disappointment
Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is not happy with Peshawar Zalmi on appointing Esra Bilgiç as their brand ambassador for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League.
On Friday, she commented under an Instagram post sarcastically saying:
“A Turkish actress whose country doesn’t even play the sport will now be a mascot for cricket.”
Furthermore, she asked whether all Pakistani actresses have disappeared and they had to look for foreign ones.
When a person addressed that foreign actors will represent Pakistan Industry she replied saying that
Chinoy said: “We have a very small industry and we have to protect it.”
