PIA Offers Discounted Tickets to Canada Amid Temporary Flight Suspension
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a special discount for passengers traveling to Canada. Travelers can book discounted tickets until October 10, with travel dates valid from September 30 to December 19.
The move comes after PIA temporarily suspended its flights to Canada from September 13 to 27, 2025, citing mandatory maintenance of its Boeing 777 long-range aircraft. The airline confirmed the suspension in an official statement earlier this month.
A PIA spokesperson explained that the airline is carrying out a three-week technical inspection of its two long-haul Boeing 777 jets. The airline stressed that the measure is intended to ensure passenger safety and aircraft readiness, especially ahead of the busy travel season.
The airline also acknowledged that limited aircraft availability has created operational challenges, affecting both international and domestic flights.
