PM Shehbaz to Hold Bilateral Talks with Saudi Crown Prince to Strengthen Ties
Islamabad – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by key members of his Cabinet, is set to meet Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince for bilateral talks aimed at reviewing the full spectrum of Pakistan-Saudi relations.
The leaders are expected to discuss regional and global developments of mutual interest, with a focus on deepening cooperation and reinforcing the longstanding fraternal ties between the two countries. The visit is also expected to formalize agreements across various sectors, highlighting their shared commitment to enhancing collaboration.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a historic relationship rooted in faith, values, and mutual trust. Officials say the Prime Minister’s visit provides an important opportunity to consolidate this partnership while exploring new areas of cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
This trip comes shortly after PM Shehbaz’s return from Doha, where he attended the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit convened in response to Israeli aggression.
Following Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will visit the United Kingdom to meet British officials and discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation. On September 21, he is scheduled to travel to the United States to participate in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York and is likely to attend the High-Level Conference on the Two-State Solution for Palestine on September 22.
