PTI, GDA, and JI band together to denounce "election fraud"

In response to the purported voting irregularities that were observed during the polls on February 8, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) are uniting to form a new political alliance in Sindh.

Chief Coordinator of GDA Sindh Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashidi called a meeting at his home and invited Ameer of JI Karachi, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, and President of PTI Sindh, Haleem Adil Shaikh.

Conversations focused on the current political environment and worries about alleged electoral irregularities in the most recent general elections, laying the foundation for cooperative initiatives. After the discussions, GDA Information Secretary Sardar Abdul Rahim announced the group’s decision to launch a coordinated campaign.

In order to pave the way for more extensive collaboration, Rashidi invited the leaders of both parties to the next GDA meeting, which is set for February 23.

Against the backdrop of opposition-driven chaos in the government and electoral commission, the prospect of a sudden announcement about the Sindh Assembly swearing-in session was discussed.

The leaders agreed to rally party members and sympathizers for a ferocious demonstration throughout Sindh in the event that such a statement came to pass. After extensive consultations, plans for a final line of action will be finalized during the upcoming meeting on February 23.
