PTI Leaders Question Aleema Khan
PTI Leaders Raise Concerns with Party Founder Over Aleema Khan’s Reports
Two senior PTI leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recently approached the party’s founder, highlighting concerns over Aleema Khan. According to sources, they told him that the information he had been receiving about the provincial government was misleading.
The leaders explained that their limited direct interaction with the founder had contributed to misunderstandings. Aleema Khan was reportedly accused of providing inaccurate updates regarding the KP government. The sources added that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s meeting with the PTI founder aimed to address and clarify these misunderstandings.
Aleema Khan Denies Differences with Salman Akram Raja
In related news, Aleema Khan has dismissed claims of any disagreement with PTI’s legal counsel, Salman Akram Raja, calling him “like family.” Speaking to the media in August, she said, “There has been no harsh exchange with Salman Akram Raja. He is our lawyer and like family. Any issue is likely personal to him.”
When asked about the upcoming by-elections, she noted that discussions are ongoing but emphasized that final decisions rest with the party leadership.
Addressing the crackdown on PTI workers and supporters, Aleema Khan said, “Arrests won’t make a difference. I don’t understand why children are being picked up. I’ve also said they can arrest me, too.”
