Rampage Jackson’s Son Involved in Violent Wrestling Incident at KnokX Academy
Los Angeles – A shocking incident unfolded at KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy when video footage showed Raja Jackson repeatedly body-slamming and punching wrestler Stewart Smith, even after Smith appeared to be unconscious.
Other wrestlers quickly intervened to stop the attack, but Raja Jackson left the venue before police arrived. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the case.
KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy condemned the act, calling it “dangerous and irresponsible” and emphasizing that such violence has no place in what should have been a staged wrestling performance. The academy assured fans and patrons that this kind of incident is unprecedented in its 17 years of operation.
Rampage Jackson publicly addressed the situation on X (formerly Twitter), apologizing for his son’s actions and expressing concern for Smith’s recovery. He clarified that Stewart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, is awake and stable.
“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match. Raja was told that he could get his ‘payback’…” Jackson wrote in his post on August 24, 2025.
Rampage Jackson revealed that Raja had suffered a concussion during training and should not have participated in the event. The situation escalated after Smith struck Raja with a can, which was meant to be part of the performance. Jackson acknowledged it was a serious mistake to involve his son, an MMA fighter with no professional wrestling background.
Stewart Smith remains hospitalized but is conscious and recovering. His family confirmed he is under observation following critical care, and a fundraising campaign has been launched to support his medical expenses.
No arrests have been made, and police continue their investigation into Raja Jackson’s actions.
