Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage is “strained” due to a significant choice
It seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at a loss over a significant life choice.
According to royal author Tom Quinn, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who withdrew from their royal responsibilities in 2020, are unable to formulate a specific strategy for their return to the UK.
The author claimed to The Mirror that the Sussexes’ inability to agree will put a great deal of strain on their marriage.
Quinn told the publication, “Meghan was pretty adamant when she said she will never return to the UK so it’s very unlikely she will accompany Harry.”
“This is one of the main points of contention between the couple, even though he will want her to accompany him for moral support.”
After his father, King Charles, was given a cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry—who lives with Meghan at their Montecito estate with their two kids—is allegedly considering returning home.
Meghan has never traveled with the Duke, who has frequently returned to the UK for business and legal matters.
Furthermore, she “never wants to set foot again in England,” according to royal biographer Omid Scobie.
Meghan last visited the UK in September 2022 to attend the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
It will be interesting to see if Prince Harry, who is scheduled to return to the UK in May, can persuade Meghan to make at least one transatlantic voyage.
