Samiya Hijab Forgives Hassan Zahid, Denies Any Financial Compensation
In a recent statement, TikToker Samiya Hijab said she has forgiven Hassan Zahid “Fi sabilillah” — for the sake of Allah — without accepting any financial compensation. She explained that Zahid’s family had approached her to seek forgiveness, which prompted her decision to pardon him.
Samiya also confirmed that Hassan Zahid has provided a written assurance promising not to take any action against her in the future.
Addressing rumors that her forgiveness came in exchange for money, Samiya clarified that her engagement with Zahid had already been called off, and she no longer felt threatened by him.
Earlier, the TikToker had expressed fear in multiple videos and interviews that Hassan Zahid might seek revenge if released without punishment. She had also accused him of physical violence, but has now withdrawn her allegations.
In a previous interview with a private media outlet, Samiya had claimed that Zahid once physically assaulted her in front of a friend and even attempted to kidnap her after she refused his marriage proposal. “He wanted to kidnap me just because I refused to marry him,” she had said.
Samiya also recounted a frightening incident after filing an FIR against Zahid. According to her, he appeared the next day in a black vehicle, armed and without license plates, threatening to kill her. This prompted her to register a second case against him.
