PM Shehbaz, Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Israel’s Aggression, Regional Peace

Riyadh – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

The discussions focused on the escalating situation in the Middle East following Israel’s recent aggression in Doha. Prime Minister Shehbaz strongly condemned the attack, terming it a deliberate attempt to sabotage peace efforts in the region.

He praised the Crown Prince’s leadership in uniting the Muslim world at a critical juncture, assuring Pakistan’s full diplomatic support. The Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s role at the United Nations Security Council, where it serves as a non-permanent member, and reiterated support for Saudi efforts at multilateral platforms, including the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The Prime Minister also underlined that the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha had sent a strong signal of unity, showing that the Muslim Ummah stands firmly against Israel’s unlawful actions, which endanger peace and stability across the region.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s historic ties with Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s consistent support during testing times. He also conveyed his warm regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
