According to Jawad Memon, a weather specialist, Karachi can have mild to heavy rain starting on Sunday, April 14.

Memon stated that the heat is getting stronger in a few places of Sindh and that it would continue to be hot there through April 12.

According to the weather specialist, Karachi’s Eid-ul-Fitr temperatures would range from 37 to 38 degrees Celsius; however, following April 12, the heat index is expected to drop.

“Westerly winds will cause rain throughout much of the nation starting on April 13 or 14. In addition, mild to moderate rain is predicted for Karachi starting on April 14,” he continued.

Memon stated that April may see more rain than typical across the nation. He continued by saying that the westerly system may provide further rain by April 22 or 23.

Additionally, he stated that rain is possible in Karachi through April 22 or 23.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi’s weather is predicted to get hotter starting today.

The Met Office predicts that the heatwave will likely persist until April 10, which is Eid-ul-Fitr’s first day, in a number of Sindhi locations.

Furthermore, the Met Department stated that the temperature will likely stay between 35°C and 37°C.
