Silver medals won by Pakistani juniors in the Qatar squash competition
Pakistan bright future was demonstrated by two squash players in the Qatar Junior Squash Championship, which came to an end in Doha on Thursday: Abdullah Zaman and Ahmed Ali Naz.
Abdullah Zaman and Ahmed Ali Naz of Pakistan won silver medals despite falling short in the U15 and U11 finals, respectively. Abdullah’s younger brother Rayyan Zaman, meanwhile, was eliminated in the U11 semifinals.
It should be mentioned that Abdullah and Rayyan are the grandchildren of the renowned Qamar Zaman and the sons of former player Mansoor Zaman.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association released a statement saying, “We are thrilled to share that three of our most talented players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boys have made a mark in the Qatar Junior Squash Championship held in Doha.”
The renowned Qamar Zaman’s grandson, Abdullah Zaman, earned the silver medal in the Boys Under-15 age group with remarkable performance. His abilities and methods captivated the crowd, and he showed that he could take on any challenger.
In the same way, Ahmed Ali Naz demonstrated his strength and won the Boys Under-11 age group. Throughout the competition, he demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and demonstrated remarkable agility, reflexes, and on-court strategy.
Players from all around the world competed in the fiercely competitive event. But our guys demonstrated their skill and shown that they rank among the finest in their age groups. We applaud them for their well-earned victory and are proud of their outstanding effort.
