WNBA player Catlin Clark shares profound self-discoveries following her loss

Despite Catlin Clark, the star player for women’s basketball, battling a left ankle injury and an erroneous late technical foul, Indian Fever was unable to overcome the Connecticut Sun and fell 88-84 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Indiana Fever were mostly worried about the 22-year-old former Iowa forward’s knee injury. The top WNBA player was in excruciating pain after rolling during the second quarter and needed medical attention.

“I turned it pretty good,” Catlin Clark told reporters during a conference after the game. I don’t think I walked on someone; I think it was just discovered. My ankles aren’t the greatest in the world.

“It was a little tight this morning, but nothing out of the ordinary,” she said.

“It felt good, I just wanted to get a lot more tape on it as fast as I could to get back out there playing,” said the first WNBA draft selection. It’s difficult, particularly if you get hurt and have to miss the final five minutes of the first half before halfway, even though I thought I started the game off well.”

Clark added, “Every basketball player has had an ankle injury, but it’s difficult to get into a flow. I think it took me until the end of the third quarter to get back into a little bit of a flow.”If not, I suppose you’re not a real baller, so it will be a little stiff, but otherwise I’ll be fine.”

Despite the Fever suffering four straight losses, Monday’s game is thought to be the greatest thus far.
