Spotify hosts second round of ‘Pakka Hit Hai’
As Spotify staged the second installment of its eagerly awaited “Pakka Hit Hai” performance, an exhilarating wave of music and anticipation rushed through Lahore.
In round two of this series, Towers opened the show before Talal Qureshi, a famous music producer and composer, performed as the main performer.
The “Pakka Hit Hai” performance is “a celebration of music, creativity, and the power of collaboration,” according to a statement from Spotify.
With its most recent performance, Spotify took its audience on an incredible musical trip where hits are “Pakka Hit Hai,” not merely assured.
“Pakka Hit Hai is Spotify’s first playlist ever, and it includes the top contemporary Pakistani singles. Before we introduced the “Pakka Hit Hai” playlist in July 2022, there was no place dedicated only to regional Pakistani bangers.
Rutaba Yaqub, Spotify’s Senior Editor for Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, described this playlist as the meeting point of hits and culture because it has everything current Pakistanis are listening to locally.
“The second ‘Pakka Hit Hai’ concert, hosted in partnership with COLABS, aimed to connect audiences and hit artists via an on-ground playlist experience.”
The “Pakka Hit Hai” playlist has seen a 65% increase in followers since March 2023, with Bayaan, Kaifi Khalil, and Jawad being the top three musicians on the hub.
The top three songs are “Bikhra,” “Iraaday,” and Kaifi Khalil’s “Kahani Suno 2.0,” which have been at the top of the charts for a long time.
