Flood Situation Eases at Sukkur Barrage, FFD Reports
ISLAMABAD — The water level at Sukkur Barrage is gradually receding, according to the latest update from the Flood Forecasting Division (FFD).
In its report, the FFD said the Indus River is experiencing a low flood at Guddu Barrage and a medium flood at both Sukkur and Kotri barrages.
At Guddu Barrage, the water inflow stood at 319,200 cusecs, with an outflow of 290,800 cusecs. Sukkur Barrage recorded an inflow of 420,500 cusecs and an outflow of 367,100 cusecs. Meanwhile, Kotri Barrage downstream received an inflow of 341,600 cusecs, with a discharge of 319,700 cusecs.
The FFD also reported that the Sutlej River is in medium flood at Ganda Singh Wala and Sulemanki headworks, while in low flood at Islam Headworks.
All other rivers across the country are flowing below low flood levels, the division confirmed.
