Taylor Swift Announces Theatrical Event for New Album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’
Grammy-winning superstar Taylor Swift has officially announced a special theatrical event to celebrate her highly anticipated new album, The Life of a Showgirl. The announcement, made on Friday via her Instagram, comes after she teased the album last month on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast.
The cinematic event, set for October 3–5, will give fans an exclusive first look at the music video for her new single, The Fate of Ophelia, along with behind-the-scenes footage, cut-by-cut explanations of her creative process, and brand-new lyric videos from the album.
“I hereby invite you to a dazzling soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas,” Swift wrote.
Tickets for the U.S. event are priced at $12 and are now on sale.
The 12-track, showgirl-themed album features a special collaboration with young star Sabrina Carpenter on the title track and is scheduled for release on October 3. Fans who pre-order the album online can expect their copies to arrive before October 13.
