US-Pakistan Seal Historic Trade Oil Deal

Pakistan and the US Strengthen Ties with New Trade and Oil Deals

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and the United States have agreed to continue working together in important areas. Both sides promised to stay in touch and keep cooperating, according to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Office.

This comes as diplomatic relations between the two countries are getting stronger. Ties improved greatly after US President Donald Trump helped broker peace between Pakistan and India following a military clash in May.

In June, President Trump invited Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for a special lunch at the White House — a first of its kind.

Last week, Pakistan announced that a major trade deal with the US had been finalized. The agreement aims to lower tariffs and increase trade between the two countries. At the same time, the US also revealed a new partnership to help Pakistan develop its oil reserves.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Trump for playing a key role in making the trade deal happen.

“I wish to convey my deep thanks to President Trump for his leadership in finalizing this historic agreement,” the PM wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

He said the deal would help the two countries grow their partnership in the future.

President Trump also posted on his Truth Social platform:

“We have just concluded a Deal with the Country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive Oil Reserves. We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership. Who knows, maybe they’ll be selling Oil to India someday.”
