Warriors Chase 110 with Charles 54

Chasing a target of 110, Northern Warriors successfully achieved the total with an over to spare with Charles remaining unbeaten on 54.

He came out to bat with his team in trouble after losing two quick wickets, however, he turned the game around with his explosive hitting.

Charles along with Sherfane Rutherford (20) knitted an unbeaten 79-run stand in 31 balls to steer their team to a dominant win.

Earlier, Delhi Bulls managed to post 109-6 in their allocated 10 overs, courtesy of quick cameos by England batters Tom Banton, Adam Lyth, and James Vince.

Banton opened the innings with Lyth and struck 23 off 15 with the help of two fours and one six before falling prey to Fareed Ahmed.

Lyth, on the other hand, smashed 25 runs from 10 balls, laced with two boundaries and two sixes. He was dismissed by Uzair Khan in the sixth over with 65 runs on the board.

Northern Warriors bowlers did not allow batters to score freely in the latter overs, restricting Delhi Bulls to 109-6, despite a good start.

Vince top-scored for the Bulls with a 16-ball 27, which included three boundaries and one six.

Fareed Ahmad and Azmatullah Omarzai bagged two wickets each for the Warriors, while Trent Boult and Uzair Khan managed one each.
