“Severe” cold wave to cause days of chills in Sindh
After last week’s downpour, the province of Sindh will continue to experience “severe” cold waves, with locals feeling uncomfortable for the next few days.
In contrast to the typical March weather, the province’s temperature will be recorded 10 degrees lower in a few days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The port city of Karachi experienced a return of the frigid weather, especially after Friday’s torrential downpour and thunderstorm.
“In Karachi, the typical March temperature is 19.4°C. Karachi’s temperature today was 11.1°C, which is 8.3°C colder than the average March temperature, according to the PMD.
The Met Office states that use the March method to predict rain in Karachi will be premature.
According to the weather predicting authority, starting on Friday, temperatures are predicted to rise to 30°C.
