Here’s When Pakistan’s Election Results Are Going to be Reported
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which has been working hard to resolve all the difficulties leading up to the nationwide general election, including choosing the voting date and concluding the campaign, is prepared for the big day on February 8.
Following voter registration, the ECP will start to work counting the votes, which is a crucial next step. This is a critical juncture in the election process, and it may be quite heated.
The results from all throughout the nation will be sent to the ECP as soon as voting concludes tomorrow, Thursday, at 5 p.m. The news will begin covering the election results at 6:00 p.m. It’s crucial to keep in mind, though, that these stories are unverified and unauthorized.
Additional Director General (ADG) Nighat Sadique clarified at a recent news conference that the electoral commission must get the results from each voting place by 2 a.m. on February 9.
If there are any delays, the polling station (PO) manager will be contacted by the returning officer (RO) to inquire about the reason(s) and report the information to the ECP.
During the press briefing, the ADG of the ECP also stated that they anticipate having all of the election results finalized by 10am. And after that is finished, Pakistan will have a new administration.
It’s important to note that there are three phases involved in releasing election results: preliminary results, consolidation of results, and official declaration of results.
