the writer of "Ishq Murshid," has revealed plans for two more seasons

During the last weekend’s episode of Shahmeer and Shibra’s love tale, writer Abdul Khaliq Khan disclosed that he had storylines for two more seasons of Ishq Murshid.

In a recent interview, Khan stated, “I have three stories in mind for this show,” on Sal Ahmed’s YouTube channel. The first one, which you’ve already watched, is about a lad who overcomes hardships to win his true love. The boy in the second narrative will clear a lot of hurdles in order to have a close blood relation. And the last tale will tell of a love that surpasses all other love; it will tell of the ishq for Allah that triumphs over all other love.

Giving insight into the inner workings of his own mind and the creation of Ishq Murshid, Khan said that in order to give his heroes’ stories justice, he needed to be “obsessed” with them. He claimed that some personalities seized him right away and forced him to write their made-up universe. Two such characters were Bilal Abbas and Durefishan Saleem’s portrayals of Shameer/Fazal and Shibra, respectively.

Khan remarked, “They are the center of the show.” Khan thanked his fans for appreciating his works and added that he was passionate about creating young adult romances. “I’m overjoyed that readers have enjoyed the story thus far.”

Ishq Murshid’s much awaited season 1 finale debuted in theaters this Friday, and stars Abbas and Saleem were there wearing matching white clothes. The show debuted on television on Sunday for those who were unable to see it in theaters. Nevertheless, viewers who were hoping for a two-hour episode were severely let down when all that was covered in the first hour was a summary of the entire season. In a social media outburst, a fan expressed sympathy for those who had purchased movie tickets to see this. One more irate commenter wrote, “This whole episode felt like a flashback.”

Fans may overlook the disappointment of the first season conclusion and be ready to welcome the show back when it comes to television because Khan has promised two more episodes.
