Actor Aagha Ali claims a lot of the industry “does not accept me”
Actor Aagha Ali from Pakistan has said that a significant portion of the media “does not accept him,” dismissing his work and failing to review his dramas.
He said these things in an interview with a YouTube podcast, discussing why he doesn’t go to award events and why, in his nearly 20-year career, he has only won one prize.
“I was not even nominated the year my shows broke records in terms of Total Viewers. The 37-year-old actor stated, “I don’t go to award shows to just clap. I do want to go, but I’m upset with this part of industry which doesn’t accept me but I do accept them.”
Ali claimed to have acted in over 100 dramas in his career, yet he has only won one award. Though he received an award from the general public, he clarified that he is “not part of any lobby.”
Speaking back to 2014, Ali recalled how he had become agitated and even walked out of an award event due to disagreements with certain media members.
The actor claimed that some people in our nation believe they are superior to everyone else and that no one can challenge them.
Regarding the Pakistani film business, Ali stated that a lot of films failed because they portrayed heroes who lacked acting skills and cast people who couldn’t dance.
