New York leads the global list with 349,500 millionaires and 60 billionaires, but the metropolis of sheikhs and buildings that reach the clouds has been dubbed the wealthiest city in the Middle East, according to Business Recorder.

Dubai is ranked 21st overall with 72,500 millionaires according to Henley’s & Partners’ “Top 50 Cities for Millionaires” ranking.

Over the past ten years, the glittering Gulf City has seen a 78% increase in the number of millionaires living there; in addition, there are 212 centi-millionaires and 15 billionaires.

In 2023, it recorded the second-highest net influx of millionaires.Only one other Middle Eastern city, Tel Aviv, Israel, with 24,300 millionaires, cracked the top 50.

According to the survey, the next big millionaire hotspot in the world is Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Furthermore, Jeddah was identified as the Middle Eastern city to be on the lookout for.

The high-tech powerhouse Bay Area, Tokyo, Singapore, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Beijing rounded out the top ten cities with the most millionaires, according to the research, which ranked New York as the city with the most millionaires out of 50.

More over $3 trillion is owned by the people of New York, surpassing the combined wealth of most G20 nations.
