Tim David Hits Fastest T20 Century as Australia Beat West Indies

Tim David Smashes Fastest T20 Century for Australia in Big Win Over West Indies

In the third T20 match between Australia and West Indies, Tim David stole the show with a record-breaking century, helping Australia win easily and take the series lead.

West Indies batted first, and Shai Hope played very well, scoring a fine century. But his efforts were forgotten after Tim David’s explosive performance.

Australia started their chase quickly. Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell scored many runs in the first two overs. However, the team lost three wickets during the PowerPlay, including both openers and Josh Inglis. Still, they managed to score 65 runs in just 6 overs.

After these early wickets, Tim David took control. He hit many big shots and kept the run rate under control. He smashed four sixes in one over from Gudakesh Motie, and by the 10th over, Australia were already 120/4.

Cameron Green was out after scoring only 11 runs from 14 balls. Then Mitchell Owen joined David, and the two built a strong partnership. Tim David kept hitting sixes and reached his half-century in just 16 balls — the fastest T20 fifty by an Australian.

He didn’t stop there. He reached his century in only 37 balls, setting another record for the fastest T20 century by an Australian.

West Indies tried to fight back with some tight bowling and even dropped a catch, but David stayed calm. He finished with an unbeaten 102 runs, including 11 sixes. Australia reached the target in just 16.1 overs.

With this win, Australia won the T20 series with two matches still to play. Tim David’s amazing innings is being called one of the best in T20 history, and he is now seen as a key player in Australia’s T20 team.
