Swabi Roof Collapse: Seven Dead, Rescue Operations Ongoing
Swabi, Pakistan – Rescue teams rushed to the scene after a roof collapsed in the Sarkoi Banda area of Gadoon, Swabi, following heavy rains. Several people, including students, were trapped under the debris. So far, seven bodies have been recovered, including five children.
The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital, Bacha Khan Medical Complex in Shah Mansoor, Swabi, where they are receiving treatment. Rescue efforts continue amid fears that more individuals may still be trapped under the rubble.
Earlier reports confirmed that at least four people had died and seven others were injured in the same area after the roof gave way due to torrential rains, according to 1122 rescue officials.
Authorities are urging caution in the area as recovery and relief operations continue.
