Jeff Bezos, the American billionaire who founded Amazon, got married to his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, in a fancy wedding on Friday, June 27. The ceremony took place on a beautiful island called San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy.
Before Lauren confirmed the wedding on her new Instagram account, a celebrity magazine had already shared the news.
More than 200 famous people attended the wedding. Guests included Oprah Winfrey, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Orlando Bloom, Usher, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tom Brady.
Other well-known guests were Queen Rania of Jordan, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his girlfriend Paula Hurd, French businessman François-Henri Pinault, and fashion designers like Diane von Fürstenberg, Domenico Dolce, and Tommy Hilfiger.

The event began with singer Matteo Bocelli performing Elvis Presley’s song “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” After the ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious food like pizza made on-site by a top Italian chef, fried zucchini flowers, arancini (fried rice balls), octopus, cod, pastries, and lemon cakes.
Lauren Sanchez wore a custom-made wedding dress by Dolce & Gabbana. It was a mermaid-style dress with a corset and decorated with Italian lace.
Bezos and Sanchez got engaged in 2023. They started dating in 2019, around the time Bezos ended his 25-year marriage with MacKenzie Scott. Sanchez was also going through a divorce from her husband of 13 years, Patrick Whitesell.
