Hajj 2026 71,000 Applications Received Process Ongoing

Hajj Application Process Continues; Over 71,000 Applications Received in First Phase

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the process of submitting Hajj applications through its online portal and designated banks will remain open until this Saturday.

In the upcoming second phase, unregistered pilgrims who wish to perform Hajj can also submit their applications. Overseas Pakistanis will be able to apply through designated banks by authorizing a close relative to apply on their behalf. However, those living abroad must present medical fitness certificates upon their arrival in Pakistan.

So far, more than 71,000 applications have been received during the first phase of the Hajj 2026 registration, Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt confirmed on Saturday.

The second phase of application submissions will run from Monday, August 11, through Saturday, August 16. During this period, applications will be accepted along with the first installment of the Hajj expenses. This phase will also allow unregistered pilgrims to apply.

According to the new Hajj policy, 70 percent of the total quota will be allocated to the government scheme, while 30 percent will be reserved for private tour operators.
