Top Girls Shine in Matric Results 2025 – 90% Pass Rate Announced

Girls Shine in Matric Exams as Mayor Attends Result Ceremony

DERA ISMAIL KHAN – City Mayor Umer Amin Khan Gandapur was the chief guest at a special ceremony where the matriculation results were announced. Many important people attended the event, including Chairman Dr. Ihsanullah, Secretary Dr. Qayyum Nawaz, and Controller of Examinations Dr. Qaiser Anwar. Education officers, principals, teachers, and parents also joined.

The mayor praised the students and told them to keep working hard. He said matric results are important for future success and appreciated the government’s support for education.

Chairman Dr. Ihsanullah said the board is working hard to improve the exam system. He shared that by 2026, exams will be checked using on-screen marking. From next week, students can pay their fees online from anywhere. He also announced that 100 kanals of land have been given for a new board complex. This new building will have a youth hostel, sports area, and other useful facilities.

Controller Dr. Qaiser Anwar announced the results. Girls got top positions in both the Science and Arts groups.

Science Group:

Mishal Khan (Dar-e-Arqam Model School) – 1171 marks

Ayla Zainab (Qurtuba Public School) – 1161 marks

Rustam Wazir (Cadet College Wana) – 1160 marks

Arts Group:

Ayla Noor (GGHS Ama Khel, Tank) – 1084 marks

Maryam (GGHSS Paharpur) – 1083 marks

Romana Gul (GGHSS Paharpur) – 1045 marks

Matric Exam Stats:

Total students: 23,845

Passed: 21,525

Pass rate: 90.27%

Science Group: 16,154 passed out of 17,286

Arts Group: 5,371 passed out of 6,559

Grade 9 Exam Stats:

Total students: 25,701

Passed: 20,092

Pass rate: 78.18%

Science Group: 15,502 passed out of 18,929

Arts Group: 4,590 passed out of 6,772

The event ended with applause as top students received awards and certificates.
