Justice Inaam Amin Minhas listened to a case from a man named Sharafat. He said his brother, Muhammad Ashraf, had gone missing.
The police gave a report to the court saying Muhammad Ashraf had been named in a robbery case at the Secretariat police station. The court had sent him to jail on May 23.
Later, Ashraf got bail and was released, the police said.

Earlier in May, the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court set up a full bench of judges to look into the case of five missing people from Hayatabad.
In that case, a person told the court that five of his close family members were taken away by the police from their home in Hayatabad, Peshawar, and no one knew where they were.
