NADRA Launches Digital Access to Vehicle and Arms Cards, Eases B-Form Process
ISLAMABAD: In a major step toward digital public services, NADRA now allows citizens to download their vehicle registration cards and arms licence cards directly to their mobile phones using the Pak ID mobile app — no need to carry physical documents anymore.
This service is completely free and aims to make public services more accessible and paperless.
How to Download Your Card:
Install the Pak ID app on your smartphone.
Register and log in.
Tap “Other Government Services.”
Tap “Show More.”
Choose Vehicle Card or Digital Arms Licence Card.
Review your details and download the card.
Go to “ID Vault” to view and save it on your phone.
NADRA has also uploaded a step-by-step video guide on its official YouTube channel for public help.
NADRA Also Eases B-Form Process for Children
In a separate update, NADRA has simplified the process to get a Child Registration Certificate (CRC), also called the B-Form, which is used to provide legal identity to children in Pakistan.
Required Documents:
Parents’ original CNICs
Birth certificate from the Union Council or the Cantonment Board
Adoption papers, if the child is adopted
Citizenship certificate, if needed
Biometric Requirements by Age:
Under 3 years: No child presence or photo required.
3–10 years: Only photograph needed.
10–18 years: Photo, fingerprints, and iris scan required.
With these digital updates, NADRA is continuing to support Pakistan’s digital transformation, making it easier for people to access important services from the comfort of their homes.
