Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Visit Pakistan, Key Agreements Expected

Islamabad – Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia is set to visit Pakistan later this year, sources confirmed, with exact dates currently being finalized. During the visit, several important agreements between the two nations are expected to be signed, further strengthening their ties.

The visit comes after an invitation from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and a senior official from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that it will take place before the year ends.

Relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have seen a notable boost in recent months, especially after the signing of a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement during Prime Minister Sharif’s trip to the Kingdom. Under the agreement, any aggression against one country would be considered an aggression against both.

“This agreement highlights the shared commitment of both nations to regional security and global peace,” the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing said in a joint statement. “It aims to enhance defense cooperation and strengthen joint deterrence against any act of aggression.”

The statement also noted that the agreement builds on a nearly eight-decade-long partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, rooted in brotherhood, Islamic solidarity, and shared strategic and defense interests.
