Islamabad – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on a diplomatic tour covering Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and the United States from September 17 to 27, official sources confirmed.

The visit comes soon after his return from Doha, where he attended the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit convened in response to Israeli aggression.

On September 21, PM Shehbaz will travel to New York to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). A day later, he is expected to take part in the High-Level Conference on the Two-State Solution for Palestine.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the UNGA on September 26, where he will raise key regional and international issues, with Palestine expected to be a central focus.

Following the conclusion of his US visit, PM Shehbaz will depart on September 27 and is expected to return to Pakistan on September 29, with a brief stopover in the United Kingdom, sources added.
