Atif Aslam makes his Bollywood comeback with "Love Story of the 90s"

According to India Today, an intriguing development is that a Pakistani singer-songwriter who has gained international recognition for his heartfelt voice would be returning to Bollywood with a romantic song for Love Story of the 90s.

LSO90’s, which is directed by Amit Kasaria and features Miss Universe Diva Divita Rai and the gifted Adhyayan Suman, is produced by Haresh and Dharmesh Sangani. To the joy of the singer’s admirers on both sides of the border, Atif makes his seventh and final trip back to B-Town in the movie.

“We are very ecstatic as Atif Aslam has sung the very first song in our film LSO90’s,” the producers said, expressing their pleasure at this historic collaboration. Atif Aslam fans will be ecstatic. He is making a return in Bollywood through our film.”

The Sangani brothers went on to discuss the difficulty in getting Atif involved, saying, “As he concentrates on the plot and the cast as a whole, it was difficult to get Atif Aslam involved. He was so impressed that he was ready to sing the movie’s theme song. We are proud and happy right now.”

The love tune performed by the well-known crooner, according to the film’s crew, fits the title of the movie well and is sure to become a smash in 2024. The lyrics, music, and pictures all work in unison. Although he only sang one song in the movie, the producers said, “We are thinking of doing another track with him.”

They continued, saying, “Fans in the Bollywood industry assume that the romantic song will be extraordinary after hearing about his reappearance. Yes, let’s hope for success!

Amit Mishra, Aman Trikha, Udit Narayan, and more well-known singers are included on the soundtrack in addition to Atif. The Aadat singer debuted the title track of the posthumous Punjabi film Jee Ve Sohneya Jee on Tuesday, marking his first musical release of the year.

The much-anticipated cross-border collaboration features actors Simi Chahal from India and Imran Abbas from Pakistan. The film, which is being directed by Thapar and produced by Sunny Raj, is slated to be a poetic tribute to adolescent romance set against the stunning backdrop of Punjab.
