Babar Azam, the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, received a fancy automobile on Monday from Javed Afridi, the team’s owner, as a thank you for his exceptional performance during Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
Afridi posted a picture of himself and Babar sitting in his car on his X account, which was originally Twitter.
The tournament’s top scorer was Babar. With five 50s and a hundred, he amassed 569 runs at an average of 56.90 in 11 innings.
Zalmi was the overwhelming favorites to win the competition, but they fell short in their two elimination matches against Islamabad United and Multan Sultans, respectively.
It should be mentioned that Babar is presently captaining Pakistan in the five-match Twenty20 International series against New Zealand.
With two games left at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the series is tied at one.
In the third Twenty20 International, which Pakistan lost by seven wickets, Babar overtook Aaron Finch as the team’s top run scorer.
