Yesterday, the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood also tweeted wishing his best to students.

In addition, Shafqat Mahmood said that the government will closely monitor coronavirus cases and close schools located in virus hotspots.

Students of classes nine to 12, O and A-levels resumed on January 18. As a result, these students can sit in their Board Exams. Furthermore, no student will promote without exams this year, he added.

Last week, the government also released the academic calendar for this year which gave the following schedule:

  • May 18 to 31: centralized examinations for classes V to VIII
  • June 1 to 15: in-house examinations for classes I, II, III, IV, VI, and VII
  • June 30: results for centralized exams
