PM Adviser Meets JI and Haq Do Leaders to Discuss Balochistan Issues
ISLAMABAD – A Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) delegation, led by Deputy Amir Liaquat Baloch, met with Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah. The meeting also included Haq Do Balochistan leader Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman.
After the meeting, Rana Sanaullah held a joint press conference and said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is serious about solving Balochistan’s problems. He welcomed Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman to Islamabad and said eight key demands were discussed during the meeting.
Rana Sanaullah announced that a special committee will be formed. It will include members from the federal government, provincial authorities, and security officials. This committee will work on finding solutions for Balochistan’s issues.
He also said that the demands raised by the Long March participants will be sent to the government.
“Balochistan is the future of Pakistan, and its development is very important for the country,” he added.
Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman said that he and his party will continue to speak up for the rights of the people of Balochistan.
