Dar Rubio Vow Stronger Pakistan US Partnership

Ishaq Dar, Marco Rubio Agree to Boost Pakistan-US Ties

WASHINGTON – A major meeting took place between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, where both leaders agreed to improve relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, Senator Rubio praised Pakistan for its sacrifices in the global fight against terrorism. He said both countries share similar views on regional peace and security. Ishaq Dar also said that Pakistan is ready to work with the U.S. to fight terrorism worldwide.
