Guddu & Sukkur Barrages in High Flood

High Flood Persists at Guddu and Sukkur Barrages, Kotri Sees Low Flood

The river continues to remain in a high flood situation at Guddu and Sukkur barrages, while downstream at Kotri Barrage, the water is flowing at low flood levels.

According to the barrage control room, the water inflow at Guddu Barrage has slightly decreased to 624,456 cusecs from 635,759 cusecs recorded just a few hours earlier, showing a drop of 11,303 cusecs. The outflow at the barrage currently stands at 594,936 cusecs.

Officials expect the water level at Guddu to decline further in the coming hours, although the high flood condition remains. Irrigation authorities confirmed that all protective dykes have held firm.

Meanwhile, an increase in water flow has been observed at Sukkur Barrage, which is also experiencing high flood conditions. The inflow at Sukkur has been recorded at 556,217 cusecs, with a discharge of 492,667 cusecs.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of the surrounding areas.
