Rapper Megan Thee Stallion filed a lawsuit alleging a cameraman harassed her

A Los Angeles complaint claims that Megan Thee Stallion made her cameraman see her having sex in a moving vehicle. According to Emilio Garcia, the incident—which took place on the Spanish vacation island of Ibiza—was a component of a harassment campaign that also included fat-shaming him.

Ron Zambrano, Garcia’s attorney, stated that Emilio “should never have been put in a position to have to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman.” “‘Inappropriate’ is a little exaggeration. It is undoubtedly against the law to disclose this behavior to employees.

According to the lawsuit, the event happened in June 2022 when Garcia—the celebrity’s personal photographer—was on tour with her.

The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court and claims that the plaintiff was unable to exit the automobile because it was driving and he was in a foreign country’s middle of nowhere. “Plaintiff was embarrassed, mortified and offended throughout the whole ordeal.”

According to the lawsuit, Garcia was advised by the Hot Girl Summer artist not to discuss what he had witnessed because she would tell him he was overweight and overindulged in food.

According to Garcia’s lawsuit, the 29-year-old celebrity started hiring him in 2018, but he was categorized as an independent contractor instead of an employee. That meant he was out of luck for perks like health insurance and potentially six-figure overtime compensation. According to the lawsuit, Garcia had an eight-hour workday contract, but she also had to answer calls from Megan Thee Stallion—real name: Megan Pete—after hours and complete other jobs without being granted any breaks.

Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc., Hot Girl Touring LLC, and Roc Nation are named as defendants in the lawsuit, which claims retaliation and many state Labor Code violations. Garcia is requesting punitive and unspecified compensatory damages.

“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behaviour and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat shaming conduct,” stated Zambrano.

Page Six, an entertainment publication, quoted Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney Alex Spiro refuting the claims. “This is an employment claim for money  with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” the attorney told the newspaper. “We will deal with this in court.”

After a drunken altercation following a party in Hollywood, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot and received a ten-year prison sentence last year.
