The line was drawn for fire stunts in “The Fall Guy” starring Ryan Gosling’s daughters
Recently, Ryan Gosling disclosed that his two kids, Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 8, objected to a certain stunt in his latest movie, “The Fall Guy.”
When Gosling’s girls heard about a fire scene, they apparently didn’t care about his promises regarding safety precautions.
Gosling said to People, “My kids didn’t want me to be set on fire.” “Though I explained that there are many protective factors involved and it is, in fact, the safer course of action,” he remembered, his girls were not persuaded. “They were like, ‘No. No fire.’ So I didn’t do it.”
Ultimately, it was Ben Jenkin, one of Ryan Gosling several stunt duplicates, who made the daring jump.
Gosling conducted some of his own stunts for the film, which is a tribute to the stunt professionals who bring life to Hollywood action scenes, even if he chose not to participate in the fire stunt.
The actor, who freely acknowledges that he is afraid of heights, even recorded a sequence in which his character falls twelve floors down a building backward!
Emily Blunt co-stars in “The Fall Guy,” which is currently playing in cinemas.
