For the Indian online series "Shandur," Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed reunite

Don’t worry if you haven’t had enough of watching television idols Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed do magic together. Following their completion of Barzakh and Jo Bache Hain Samait Lo, the pair is scheduled to feature in the online series Shandur on the Indian over-the-top network Sony LIV.

Fawad, who even took polo lessons to perfect the character, will be playing a royal from Chitral who loves the game. Something Haute claims that Asim Raza is the director and Umera Ahmed is the writer for the series. Viewers will also be able to watch performances by Mikaal Zulfiqar and Hira Khan in addition to Fawad and Sanam. The series, which will feature scenes from Pakistan and the UK, is slated for release later this year. The Shandur Top in Pakistan, the highest polo pitch in the world at 3,700 meters above sea level, is anticipated to be a unique component of the movie.

Their partnership with Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Fawad and Sanam, along with Barzakh, Jo Bache Hain Samait Lo, and now Shandur, have cemented their place in the hearts of fans. In the meantime, Umera and filmmaker Asim previously collaborated on Behadd, which starred Fawad, Sajal Aly, and Nadia Jamil.

Instagram has emerged as the most popular platform for project updates. Adnan Ansari, a makeup artist, posted a picture of the Shandur team in Chitral. For ardent watchers, the latest project’s specifics are being kept under wraps, so they will have to wait. It’s another question entirely, though, whether Pakistani audiences will be able to see the show because of stringent rules.
