As the legal fights continue, Donald Trump grows emotional
In reference to his legal issues, Republican candidate for the White House and former president Donald Trump has called himself among the worst-treated people in American history. On Wednesday, a Georgia court dismissed six of the 41 criminal charges that were brought against him.
In an interview with Newsmax, Donald Trump asserted that his treatment “has topped” that of both the 16th president, Abraham Lincoln (1861–1865), and the 7th president, Andrew Jackson (1829–1837).
“Nobody has,” stated Trump on Wednesday, “when you consider the fake things.” There has never been someone treated as poorly as Trump.
He described himself as the third person in the nation to be criticized.
“Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, Russia, Russia, Russia. The former president declared, “Everything was a scam, and it literally starts a new one.”
“As you win one, you start the other impeachment hoax number one, impeachment hoax number two,” the 77-year-old added. All frauds and swindles. And I added that it would be much simpler if they ever committed their attention to making America great once more.”
The former president was twice impeached and faced four indictments. In addition, he faces 91 criminal counts.
On Wednesday, though, Trump received some reprieve from his legal woes when the judge presiding over his case for suspected election meddling dismissed six of the 41 criminal accusations brought against him.
US media sources state that “soliciting an elected official to do otherwise of their public duties” was one of the main counts that Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee dropped.
The first charge against the actor-turned-politician was filed in April of last year in relation to a payment of hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
His other three indictments deal with urging supporters to attack Capitol Hill, unlawfully keeping confidential information after leaving the Oval Office, and meddling in the 2020 Georgia state election.
He has been disputing all of the accusations made against him and has referred to them as a witch hunt.
The billionaire businessman also referred to his hard work as a “war,” saying that he is driven by the fact that he is up against “very evil people.”
