Joe Biden makes a significant revelation about student debt

As elections draw closer, US President Joe Biden declared that the government will forgive $6 billion in student loans for 78,000 public servants.

Biden’s decision is the most recent attempt to lower student loan debt after the Supreme Court rejected a broad debt relief plan.

Around four million people have benefited from student loan reduction since Biden entered office in 2021, totaling an astounding $144 billion.

Biden’s decision will assist some 78,000 borrowers, who include Americans working in various public professions as such as teachers, nurses, and firemen.

870,000 public service employees’ debts have been forgiven by Biden’s administration in more than three years—thousands more than during Trump’s administration.

When the impacted people’s debts will be repaid is yet unknown. “Won’t back down from using every tool at my disposal to deliver student debt relief to more Americans,” the president declared, despite the circumstances.
