Monsoon Showers Continue in Karachi Amid High Humidity
Karachi continues to experience humid and moist weather as the third spell of monsoon rains brings light to moderate showers to the city today. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), this phase of rainfall is expected to last until tomorrow.
The maximum temperature in Karachi is forecasted to reach up to 34°C. Winds are blowing lightly from the southwest, while the city’s humidity level has risen to 74%, adding to the discomfort for residents.
Weather conditions across the country remain varied. The PMD predicts rain-wind/thundershowers in several regions, including Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, northeastern Punjab, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, northeastern and southern Balochistan, and southern Sindh over the next twelve hours.
Elsewhere in Pakistan, hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail.
