Marka-e-Haq Military Equipment Exhibition Opens Tomorrow
The public will get a chance to view an impressive display of military hardware tomorrow, with the exhibition opening at 10 a.m. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of equipment used during Marka-e-Haq, including weapons, aircraft, tanks, artillery, rocket launchers, military vehicles, and armoured carriers.
Radars that played a pivotal role in the conflict will also be on display. Adding to the excitement, the Pakistan Air Force will perform a fly-past and a para-jumping demonstration for attendees.
In a separate event, a grand ceremony will be held today at Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad to mark Independence Day and commemorate victory in Marka-e-Haq. President Asif Ali Zardari will serve as the chief guest, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the heads of the three armed forces in attendance.
The ceremony is expected to host a large gathering of national and international dignitaries. Special cultural performances, a parade by the armed forces, and an aerial fly-past are also on the schedule. During the event, the Prime Minister will unveil the Marka-e-Haq Monument to honor the victory.
Military contingents from Türkiye and Azerbaijan are participating in the Independence Day celebrations, adding an international dimension to the festivities.
