Will it continue to be hot during Eid-ul-Fitr?
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) projection on Tuesday, if the Shawwal moon is visible today, the temperature in Sindh is expected to surpass 40°C and reach as high as 42°C by April 11. This is anticipated to coincide with the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Met Office predicts that today’s high in lower Sindh, including Karachi, will be between 37°C and 39°C. The region will continue to have hot, dry weather with a humidity of 64%.
The PMD predicted that the temperature will stay between 34°C and 36°C throughout Eid, with a west to south-west sea breeze. The weather would be hot and muggy.
On the other hand, the Met Office noted that rain and thunderstorms are expected to affect the city on April 13 and 14.
“Westerly winds will cause rain throughout much of the nation starting on April 13 or 14. Additionally, starting on April 14, mild to heavy rain is predicted for Karachi “Weather analyst Jawad Memon stated on Monday.
He also mentioned that rain is predicted for the city between April 22 and April 23.
Memon also mentioned the possibility of above-average April precipitation throughout the nation, emphasizing that a westerly storm might bring further rain by April 22 or 23.
