Cricketers sliding into actors’ DMs: Saheefa Jabbar Khattak’s
It’s a shame that interviews these days seem more about scandals and silly questions than anything meaningful.”
Interviews with Saheefa Jabbar Khattak are becoming too much for her. Following the disclosures made by Nazish Jahangir on her thoughts on marrying Babar Azam and Nawal Saeed regarding her amorous messages from cricket players, Saheefa used her Instagram Stories to respond to the questions that prompted these revelations.
Isn’t it strange how interviews tend to turn into conversations about who’s dating whom or whether actors are texting cricket players? asked the performer. Come on, there had to be more fascinating topics to discuss, isn’t that right? “I mean, do these hosts even bother with proper research, or is this just for show?” she went on.
Saheefa said, “Looking back, I’ve had some pretty rough interviews, and I’m not here to make excuses for that.” as she considered her personal experiences. I’ve come to the realization that I should watch what I say more carefully and responsibly, especially when a camera is rolling or anything is being recorded. However, do you know what? It’s not only my fault; interviewers have to do a better job as well. Rather than always searching for scandals, they should complete their assignments and formulate thoughtful inquiries.”
The celebrity went on, “I’ve been asked to a couple comedy events, and they ended up talking about mental health. While I do believe that mental health is extremely important, it might not be the greatest match for a comedic role. How, after all, can one condense anything so complicated into a minute or two? It’s difficult! It’s all about getting the show’s tone correct, in my opinion. If it’s satire, keep it lighthearted and humorous. For platforms designed for it, save the more complex content.”
Saheefa concluded her remarks by saying, “And those questions about cricketers dipping into DMs? Sort pretty ridiculous, isn’t that right? Like, this is a group of grownups. It is simply human connection when someone expresses curiosity; it is not a scandal. There’s no need to present actresses as being on a pedestal and cricket players as being from another planet. Let’s maintain realism while showing respect, shall we?
