In a million years, I could never have imagined portraying Umro Ayyar: Usman Mukhtar

Usman talked on how Umro Ayyar influenced his early years, which helped to solidify his desire to take on the project. “What drew me towards the project was the project itself; I grew up reading Umro Ayyar,” said the actress. “My mother would visit me on the weekends when I was sent to boarding school, and we would visit a bookshop on Mall Road. She used to read me at least one of the novels I chose by Umro Ayyar before she went.”
