Naumaan Ijaz feels that in Pakistani plays, “relationships are being disgraced”

During his latest visit on Meer Means Business, Naumaan Ijaz used strong language to criticize Pakistani television. The actor thinks that because local media consistently portrays partnerships negatively, “relationships are being disgraced”.

The actor bemoaned, “You show a father and brother as villains, and you show a mother, sister, and mother-in-law as witches,” drawing attention to how nearly all relationships are portrayed as bad or wicked. Naumaan continued by highlighting the effects this has had on society and emphasizing how urgently reform is needed.

Naumaan stated, “That naturally gets transferred to our society.” Whether you want to or not, everything you watch has an effect on you. It becomes ingrained in your mind. People are not grasping this, even though it is something that has to be understood. People tend to transform the worst thing into a huge hit. The link between a nand was emphasized in a serial. I was astonished to see people’s ratings soar. I chuckled and remarked that negativity is pervasive in our culture. Negativity has taken over society. It must be modified.”

Naumaan gave an example from his own life, saying, “I try to make a lesson or anything constructive out of my drama or the drama I am a part of. I won’t work on the project if I don’t see that. I avoid having pointless conversations. My self-censorship exists. Many writers produce work that seems illogical, which could make watching with your family a little awkward.”

Naumaan said, bewildered and enraged, “Pardon me, but we still don’t know what national television is.” It comes with respectful limits. Our entire system is dishonest. How many generations will be lost trying to correct it?” The celebrity continued by saying Pakistan has no culture. He explained, “People are seeing so much negativity around them, that they say that if all is negative, then be negative.”

The celebrity made a last appeal, saying he did so simply out of love, voicing his worries and showing his sadness. “The youth and our people both need to understand.” Leave the elderly alone; they are worthless.”They’ve destroyed the social fabric,” he declared.
