PM praises strong voter participation as “unwavering commitment”
On Thursday, acting prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar congratulated the country on a well-run general election and stated that the high voter turnout demonstrated the public’s commitment to determining the course of the nation.
“The cornerstone of this democratic exercise has been the participation and enthusiasm of the people of Pakistan.” The prime minister posted on his X handle, “The high voter turnout is a clear indication of public commitment to shaping the future of our country.”

He expressed gratitude for the work done by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the media, the armed and civil forces, the police, law enforcement agencies, election personnel, and all other organizations and people who helped ensure that the free and fair elections were held.
According to Prime Minister Kakar, the historic event demonstrated the tenacious spirit of the Pakistani people as well as the tenacity and power of the nation’s democratic procedures.
He claimed that the opinions, as expressed by the ballots, will strengthen Pakistan’s democracy and that the people of Pakistan should be greatly appreciated for it.
“The seamless running of the elections has been made possible by their unwavering dedication to their duties.”
He stated that the people of Pakistan had exhibited incredible bravery and tenacity in the face of hardship.
He claimed that the institutions’ determination to go on with the election process in the wake of the recent acts of terrorism was a potent declaration against the forces attempting to destabilize the country. He continued, “It emphasizes our shared desire for peace, stability, and prosperity.”
“I congratulate the country once more on this historic accomplishment. The prime minister said, “May this election be a sign of a better, more prosperous future for Pakistan.”
