Shaista Lodhi talks candidly about her poignant first Umrah journey
Actor and Pakistani TV host Shaista Lodhi talked about her life-changing first Umrah journey with her family in a recent interview with host Hina Altaf. The famous person described how a fortuitous encounter with a friend sent her off on an unforeseen spiritual trip.
Shaista said, “I don’t know how that Umrah happened for me.” “It was never entirely my intention, but of course I had the desire. There was no plan. In just two days, the decision to perform an Umrah prior to my trip to America was made. How something like this might have happened astounded me.
Shaista revealed that she was engrossed in a local news station morning show. The celebrity, who has gained notoriety in the morning show industry, talked about how exhausting the studio’s bustle can be. We work in all that noise and wish for silence when we get home because, as you know, these shows are different and we all have different personalities on the inside.
The auspicious day that culminated in Shaista boarding the Makkah flight two days later commenced as per usual. “I told the driver to take the car just anywhere quiet this one day,” the actress said, describing how they ended up driving aimlessly on I I Chundrigar Road.
“Abruptly, I got a call from a friend of mine, Haji Sahab,” Shaista disclosed, identifying the individual who served as the catalyst for her journey. “I replied that I was at the office when he asked where I was. I asked him where his office was, and he asked if I could come. She emphasized the synchronicity by saying, “It was literally there in front of me when he mentioned the name of the building.”
But this was just the beginning of a string of strange happenings. He invited me to take a seat when I walked to his office. In passing, he told me he was watching my morning show that day. Then he said, “I asked Allah to direct me to the appropriate person to whom this should be returned because I have something for safekeeping.” And I thought about you. Thus, you own this.
Shaista was shocked to receive a portion of the fabric that had formerly been used to bathe the Kaaba. “A few moments later he asked me if I would go on an Umrah and I just looked at his face and said yes,” the presenter continued. When he inquired who would be going with me, I responded, “My parents and my kids.”After two days, I was on the plane.
From then on, things happened pretty quickly. Shaista described how she submitted him her family’s passports after that meeting and got them the same day their visas were approved.
Shaista continued by thanking everyone who had contributed to making her first Umrah possible and related one last miracle. “I gifted everything to everyone as much as I could on the Umrah journey. I was earning a good living as a morning show host. However, I neglected to purchase something for me.
“Haji Sahab called to let me know he was waiting for me at home with a gift when I got there. The star revealed how she got rosary beads woven from the fabric of the Kaaba. “All that while I had been telling myself that I will receive my gift from Allah,” the actress said.
